We helped Verizon by developing a new store type to better serve the modern consumer while also championing a more human, connected brand across all store types.
While I only played a minor role in the Next Gen store design, I had the pleasure of being part of a crackerjack team and we developed a brand new photography library, oversaw all digital production and produced all print materials across 5,200 stores amongst 9 store types.
SWAS design strategy
This was the first time I witnessed the beauty in developing a strong brand design system. I can't unsee it's tremendous value to companies and firmly believe in constant rigor and diversity of thought to strengthen a brand system.
Named the "Next Gen" store - it is now the benchmark for all store types in the US.
